Our focus has been on Florida native perennials since they are less difficult to care for and will be the most excellent butterfly magnets! We’ve been battling pollen and other irritants this year, so been very slow moving when it comes to getting things accomplished; however, that does not mean that I have stopped putting flowers in the ground. No, I am surrounding myself with color this year. I have even seen a couple of Monarch caterpillars poking around in my milkweed, so I expect to see their flashing orange wings dashing across my front yard at some point.
