What's New in July?

Hot, hot, hot. Yep, that’s what’s new in July.

We are working towards a huge restock of beads in the store, and I have a brand new batch of polymer clay to play with. While I am not making as many beads as I would like in one sitting, I am getting a number of canes and sets done that will go a long way towards rebuilding my bead inventory.

Between bead breaks, we are watching the bamboo grow and trying to keep our feeder filled, so our resident bird population has a place to enjoy a snack and a dip in the bird bath.

There appears to be a new influx of squirrels, so I have to assume that we have babies out there. The babies don’t know that I would prefer they not lay on the porch railing under my trailing petunias. The little ones are prone to snacking on the petunias while they lounge about. I don’t think petunias are poisonous, but the squirrels have plenty of other snacks in the yard.

Speaking of babies, we have a new one in our little corner of the world. I am a first-time grandma in the age of Covid-19 and while I cannot see her, the technology of 2020 keeps us connected via phone, videos and chats. I held her for about three minutes and made her cry. I am better off as the video grandma. :)

Here is one of our most recent bird visitors. I admit, I don’t have a feeder for him.

What’s New

Beads: Brand new sets of beads from kaleidoscope canes are now a reality in my shop. I have many other beads in the works.

Bracelet: Fun charm bracelets with Bible verses and Mom charms.

Charms: I added a large assortment of 20mm and 25mm charms for purchase.

New Products:

Posters: I am working on my one word posters and wall hangings. There are also wood blocks to be added.

Loose Beads: I am focusing on making sets of beads again, so look for more beads to show up in my shop. I am not certain about the canes just yet, but I am planning on them for 2020.

Pins: A lot of new button pins have been created for Halloween and are in the shop.
