What's New in May
We’ve taken stock of the flowers and plants that didn’t survive the freeze, and it looks like most of our plants are going to be fine. We did have to cut them down to the base, so they could regrow, which is sad for my 15-foot jatropha. Hey, at least it’s still with us and the butterflies have moved onto some of the dozens of plants that I put in to replace all of the dead flowers. The back porch looks like a nursery now with all of the salvia, marigolds, zinnias, phlox, and verbena. It’s quite colorful.
In the meantime, it’s starting to warm up around here with our first high-80s day the first week of May. I am not looking forward to the start of hurricane season in four weeks. It’s summer. All of the snowbirds have gone home, and the roads are clear. Jimmy Buffett used to sing about that in the song “when the coast is clear”, and that’s how I feel sometimes.
Enjoy the Salem lighthouse while I plan my next trip somewhere in the U.S.

What’s New
Notecards: Working on my dog cards now. I have all of the breeds laid out, but I don’t have them loaded yet. Too much work for a big batch, so they will roll out one dog at a time in alphabetical order.
License Plates: These are mostly beach related right now, but I will get the rest of them made soon.
Stickers: I have so many stickers around my work station that I can’t see my daytimer any longer. I am experimenting with stickers and coloring books. Stay tuned!
Until next month,
Julie
Things to Look Forward To:
New Products:
Journals: I will be binding my own journals and books, so as soon as I get the first publication—it’s going to be greeting card oriented—I will post it. Right now, it’s in the writing stage.
Notepads: My first blank notebook has been completed, and when I get the glue part figured out—gotta keep the pages in the book– then I will post them.
Bookmarks: The bookmarks will move into production this month.
