What's New in September
I’m looking at the NOAA map at Tropical Storm Dolly right after we lost our greatest treasure, Dolly Parton. What a beloved woman all around the world who left gifts everywhere she went.
She was colorful, energetic, and one of the biggest personalities that we’ve seen in years. We will miss her. We’re so grateful that her music lives on, as does her huge heart and humanitarian efforts to educate, feed, and care for others.
The world is less colorful now, but in honor everyone has lit up the skies with the brightest pinks they could find. From the Empire State Building to the Nashville International Airport to the Santa Monica Pier Ferris Wheel to the Eiffel Tower, everyone was there for Dolly.
With that, I have nothing to add to this newsletter, other than be a bright pink light like Dolly was and be kind to one another.
